Introduction

This is very much a truncated newsletter this month what with holidays, courses and preparation for H.Art week time is at a premium – normal service will be restored next month.

H.Art Week 6 – 16 September 2007
Open Studio

As some of you are aware H.Art week is coming soon. Over 100 artists based in Herefordshire are opening their studios to the public for the ‘week’, together with galleries and craft centres. My studio will be open 10.30am until 5.30pm on everyday except Monday 10th September. I have a new range of paintings to show which is a new direction for me, so if you want to see what I get up to come along and have a look. No booking is required just turn up and you might also get a cup of tea and a biscuit.

Painting Holidays in France

One or two people have expressed interest in this new venture of mine. I am working with the French House Party Experience. They are a local company (Abberley) who run painting holidays in Domaine St. Raymond in Carcassonne, France. The holidays include accommodation in a lovely villa, plus wine tasting and lots of other stuff. If you are interested in painting where a lot of the great French painters worked, this could be the holiday for you. Landscape Masterclass at Broadfield Court on 23/24 August – This course is aimed at those who wish to develop their landscape painting on an individual level.
